oci_field_name( resource$statement, string|int$column ): string|false

Returns the name of the column.

Parameters

statement

A valid OCI statement identifier.

column

Can be the field's index (1-based) or name.

Return Values

Returns the name as a string, or false on failure

Notes

Note:

In PHP versions before 5.0.0 you must use ocicolumnname instead. This name still can be used, it was left as alias of oci_field_name for downwards compatability. This, however, is deprecated and not recommended.
