oci_field_type
PHP 5, PHP 7, PHP 8, PECL OCI8 >= 1.1.0
oci_field_type - Returns a field's data type name
Manual
oci_field_type(
resource$statement,
string|int$column ): string|int|false
Returns a field's data type name.
Parameters
- statement
-
A valid OCI statement identifier.
- column
-
Can be the field's index (1-based) or name.
Return Values
Returns the field data type as a string or an int, or false on failure
Notes
Note:
In PHP versions before 5.0.0 you must use ocicolumntype instead. This name still can be used, it was left as alias of oci_field_type for downwards compatability. This, however, is deprecated and not recommended.
